These replacement bulbs are the very high performance and high brightness HID xenon bulbs, which can provide a much better lightning on the road while less light or dark night situation.
Audi replacement bulbs are the very high quality and high performance HID xenon bulbs, which can cause the better lightning almost twice of the normal halogens and also there is no difference in the price with the other normal halogen bulbs. Audi replacements bulbs also have the double life line compared to the other normal bulbs, they provide you a better brightness and luminance on the road while driving in the nighttime or in the less light condition.

About Halogen Bulbs
A halogen bulb is an incandescent lamp in which a tungsten filament is sealed into a compact transparent envelope filled with an inert gas and a small amount of a halogen such as iodine or bromine.
The combination of the halogen gas and the tungsten filament gives rise to a chemical reaction known as a halogen cycle that increases the lifespan of the bulb and prevents its darkening as tungsten from the bulb's interior is deposited back onto the filament.
The halogen bulb can operate its filament at high temperatures which is not possible in case of the more conventional bulbs without loss of their durability. Not only does this make halogen bulb more effective but also makes it suitable for various needs. Halogen bulbs give out light of a higher color temperature than a non-halogen incandescent bulb.
It is possible to design halogen bulbs in such a way that their life will be doubled with the same or slightly higher efficiency. As they are very small in size, halogen bulbs can pretty easily be used with visual systems that are more efficacious.
If we take an example of a normal light bulb, we will see that it is made up of a fairly large, thin, frosted glass container. Inside the glass are gases like argon and/or nitrogen. At the core of the bulb is a tungsten filament.
When electricity is provided it heats this filament up to about 4,500 degrees Fahrenheit. As with many other hot metals, the tungsten gets "white hot" at that temperature and gives out a great deal of visible light in a process called incandescence.
The life span of a traditional light bulb is about 750 to 1,000 hours in normal use. This cannot be considered durable as apart from radiating light, it also radiates a huge amount of infrared heat - far more heat than light. We commonly know that the purpose of a light bulb is to generate light, and the heat is often wasted energy.
A halogen bulb also makes use of a tungsten filament, but in this case the filament is encased inside a much smaller quartz container. Because the container is so close to the filament, there is a possibility that it would melt if it were made from glass.
One point needs to be noted that the gas inside the container is also different as it consists of a gas from the halogen group. It is a well-known fact that these gases have a very interesting property: They combine with tungsten particles that have been heated. If the temperature is high enough, the halogen gas reacts with tungsten atoms as they vaporize and redeposit them on the filament.
As a result of this recycling process the filament gets a longer lifespan. Moreover, as you are able to run the filament hotter, you can get more light per unit of energy.
