Designer Lamp, Table Lamp

design question, please help! 10 pts.?

What do you have to go to school for to design products (anything from toothbrushes to kitchen products) ? And what do you have to go to school for to be a designer that does decorative pieces such as vases, tables, furniture, lamps, etc..? Please help! Thank you.

designing products is called being an Industrial Designer. I think its an AMAZING career especially if you are creative and have dedication. Same with vases, etc....furniture design actually comes out of all design professions. You see architects such as Ray and Charles Eame's designing furniture in the mid 20th c....also interior designers, industrial designers....
