Help! I dont want to set the house on fire?!!?
Ive just bought one of those lampshades that are like thin paper lanterns for my ceiling light.
We use energy saving lightbulbs in my house. The lamp shade is only suitable for up to 25 watts. Here is my confusion though..
10 watt energy saving lightbulb.. equivalent to 50 watts..
Would this be suitable?
yes it's fine, your energy saving bulb only consumes 10 watts, although it gives out the same amount of light as a higher wattage normal bulb, it will only give off the same amount of heat as a standard 10 watt bulb!
