How to pull off vintage style?
I love the way vintage style looks on people, but I'm not sure if I can pull it off. First off, I am really tall (almost 6 ft!) and have to buy everything in tall. Secondly, I'm not sure how some stuff would work with my hair and skin tone- I'm black and I have EXTREMELY curly hair (longer than my shoulders but not far down my back). I LOVE 1960/70s style, but I don't know if I could pull it off. Any suggestions? Thank you for your help.
I think vintage style would suit you beautifully!! I am not black but am Indian (so dark-skinned!) and have curly black hair, I am also tall although not as tall as you (5'10") and I always wear vintage clothing!
I think short floral mini dresses would look adorable on you to show off your legs. Bright colours would work fantastically with your skin tone. Rock a dress with some lace up vintage military style ankle boots - they look AWESOME!!! Also, jumpsuits would look amazing on you (it doesn't matter if the legs come up short on these because they look cool either long or slightly shorter anyway, as long as the legs are tapered). Or shorts playsuits/romper suits would be perfect!!
